Dauphin County Law Library is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position of Assistant Law Librarian.  An employee in this position provides professional/technical level library work in assisting the librarian with the library duties.  This is a union position.  A higher hourly rate may apply if successful candidate is an existing county employee.      

 

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in library science and/or a paralegal degree.  One to three years experience in a law related field or any equivalent combination of training and experience.    

 

Application Process: Current employees must complete a Transfer Application and attach resume.    Non-county employees must complete a Dauphin County Application for employment, printable from our website at www.dauphincounty.org .  Both forms may be obtained from and submitted to the Personnel Department.
