Tax Assessment is currently accepting
applications for full-time, day shift position of Residential
Field Assessor/Appraiser. An employee in this position will discover,
list, and value all residential real property in jurisdiction for tax purposes;
inventory all real property, including quantity, quality, and important
characteristics, including a scaled sketch; determine the extent of taxability
of each property; and estimate the market value of each taxable property. A higher hourly rate may apply if successful
candidate is an existing county employee.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation for high school or an accredited equivalency program, valid PA driver’s license and valid CPE certification.
