An employee in this position is responsible for making recommendations for activity selection; preparing and administering program budgets; designing and implementing monitoring systems for the program; preparing and submitting reports to Federal government agencies; maintaining databases for the HOME Investment Partnerships Program and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Programs; and coordinating other affordable housing related projects as assigned. Salary is commensurate with experience.

An employee in this position will provide casework & counseling to Prison inmates (classified & unclassified; sentenced & unsentenced) on Prison premises. He/She may work in concert on block with an associated Treatment Specialist II (whose duties he/she may appropriate or share as necessary, or as directed by proper authority), & reports to the Treatment Supervisor, Treatment Coordinator, or Deputy Warden for Treatment Services (as the last directs).

An employee in this position maintains a safe and secure environment for youth through observation, supervision, counseling, and enforcement of rules and regulations while promoting the welfare of youth in their care. Incumbent provides direct service to the residents of the facility. Responsibilities include intake (including completion of forms, inventory of personal possessions, strip search, bathing, room assignment and orientation), counseling, program planning, resident supervision and preparation of behavioral summaries. This is a union position.
